Vignobles Ludovic Pierrot produces wines from the climates of Burgundy, Côte d'Or, and Beaujolais. The estate (formerly Domaine de l'Abbaye de Santenay) is located in Santenay, south of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy . The vineyards cover 25 hectares in the Santenay, Pernand-Vergelesses, Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, and Morgon appellations, and are all certified biodynamic . Ludovic Pierrot and Jean-Marc Pandraud work with respect for the living, with a minimum of intransitive, without synthetic chemicals.

After manual sorting in the vineyard and on a vibrating sorting table upon receipt of the harvest, the Chardonnay grapes are put into direct pressing upon arrival in the vat room. Fermentation begins spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in barrels. The wine is aged in fine-grained French oak barrels with a light toast . Bottling is carried out according to the lunar and biodynamic calendar.
