Champagne Georges Laval - Garennes R13/22 - Extra Brut
Champagne Georges Laval is located in Cumières, in the Marne Valley in Champagne . The wine estate was founded in 1971 by Georges Laval. Since 1996, his son Vincent Laval has been producing champagnes. The 2.5 hectare vineyard is managed in certified organic farming . The Cumières terroir, classified as Premier Cru , is made up of south-facing hillsides, with a chalk subsoil and a warm microclimate. The age of the vines varies between 30 and 80 years and each lieu-dit allows for the production of different vintages.
The Garennes cuvée is a blend of Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir harvested from 2013 to 2022 on the terroirs of Chambrecy, Damery, Cumières and Hautvillers. Fermentation and aging take place in barrels. The wine is bottled with an Extra-Brut dosage of 1 g/L .
