Since its purchase in 1997 by the owners of Léoville-Las cases, Nénin has joined the ranks of Pomerol's great wines. The vineyard consists of gravel on an iron-rich soil, and thanks to a return to traditional methods, the resulting wine is now more complex and powerful. It has a bright colour and develops a fresh, fruity, floral nose. The palate is perfectly structured and rounded, with notes of cherries and chocolate. The tannins are rich and smooth, with good length.
