Sassicaia (Tenuta San Guido - Bolgheri) is a great red wine from Tuscany, the first "super Tuscan" to emerge in the 70s. A great Italian wine made from French grape varieties: 80% cabernet sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot (average depending on the vintage), a blend which has earned it the qualification of more Bordeaux of the great Italian wines. 24 months in oak barrels for a powerful and fine wine at the same time, with a great aging capacity.
