Egon Müller - Scharzhofberger Spätlese 2003 Mosel-saar-ruwer
Egon Müller IV shares with the Burgundian Louis Latour the particularity of bearing the same first name as his father and his grandfather. Family tradition that identifies the estate and the one who manages it. He is the fifth generation present on the Scharzhofberg vineyard, his ancestor Jean-Jacques Koch having created the estate in 1797. It is a historic date: Napoleon launched the Italian campaign, defeated the Pope, ransomed the Vatican and installed in the regions he has already conquered the laws of the Republic, including the nationalization of Church possessions (especially land). This is the case in the Moselle and the Saar, today Land (province) of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
