Mauzac Vert, one of the many grape varieties that would have been forgotten without the Plageoles family who have reintroduced it to the estate .
Within the Plageoles family, we advocate quality viticulture, respectful of nature, without chemical fertilizers, weedkillers or synthetic products. Yields are under control, 40 hectoliters / hectare. The harvest is done manually. Aging in stainless steel vats.
Wine with a beautiful golden yellow color revealing aromas of white fruit such as peach, apple, pear, quince, notes of fresh almonds, citrus, all accompanied by mineral and smoky notes. Fat and creamy on the palate with a surprising but beautiful and original bitterness in the end which makes it a different wine.
It can be drunk as an aperitif, with various beet-based salads, for example, with river fish or even a goat cheese.
An original wine without being exuberant or atypical.
