Graham's is a major producer of Porto from the Douro Valley in northern Portugal. It was established as a textile company in the early 1800s by brothers William and John Graham in Glasgow, who received a barrel of Porto in payment of a debt. The business grew from there, and today Graham's is owned by the Symington family who own several other Porto homes, including Dow's and Warre's. It was also Sir Winston Churchill's favorite Porto (presumably when he was not drinking his other great love: Pol Roger), and was served on the famous liner RMS Queen Mary.
The house offers a range of Porto styles, including the classic Tawny. This is a blend of Tinta Barocca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa, Touriga Nacional and has undergone a 10-year aging in 534L oak barrels.
