Château MONBRISON 1993
Château Monbrison is located in the Margaux appellation, in the Bordeaux wine region. The property was ceded in 1749 by Joseph de Ségur to Pierre Copmartin, King's advisor in Bordeaux. In 1922, the estate was acquired by the Davis family, then passed on to the Vonderheyden family. Since 1992, Laurent Vonderheyden has managed it, continuing the family tradition. His daughter, Alix, joined the family business in 2018. The vineyard covers 15.5 hectares in Margaux and since 2015, 6.5 hectares of vines have been dedicated to the production of wines in the Médoc appellation. All plots are treated using sustainable methods .
Château Monbrison is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot . Aging lasts 18 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which are new wood.
