The name Borgogno has always been linked to the production of wine in the Langhe and Piedmont regions. However, the existence of the house dates back to 1761, when it was created by Bartolomeo Borgogno. Very quickly, the wines of the vineyard found their place on the great Italian tables.
In 1920, Cesare Borgogno took over at the head of the estate. Charismatic and enthusiastic, he will be at the origin of the implementation of many innovations. Even today, the cellars represent an important part of the Langhe wine history.
In 2008, the Farinetti family acquired the Borgogno house. She then undertook major renovations to restore these historic buildings to their former glory and make it a point of honor to preserve the traditions of the place.
