Bielle is located on the island of Marie Galante, also called the island of 100 mills. In 40 years, the distillery has become one of the most famous in the West Indies. The sugar cane comes from the estate and small local producers, some of whom still use the cabrouet (beef cart) to transport canes. At the distillery, 2 mills will make it possible to obtain the cane juice that will be fermented for 48 hours before being distilled by the 3 Savalle stainless steel columns and then bottled to the historical degree 59 ° or aged in the cellars.
A very old rum of the 2011 vintage signed by the Bielle family distillery. This wine was aged in bourbon casks and refined in "fine grained" oak barrels of cognac. It was withdrawn in 2015 without filtration. The result is a rum with sweet woody aromas that highlight beautiful fruity fragrances.
