Caring producer, sensitive to biodynamics, Jean-Louis Trapet will have signed the development of the family estate. If the recent succession which affected the domain gave part of the vines to the Rossignol cousins, Jean-Louis Trapet still cultivates three Grands Crus and two Premiers Crus. As for the style of its wines, they bring Burgundy to the top. As an idealist convinced of biodynamics, he leads with his Alsatian wife Andrée a vineyard that he likes to call alive. The couple's sense of hospitality invites visiting and distinguished guests to their table. Here the wine speaks to express all its nobility.

Complex, subtle and assertive, the localities of Gevrey-Chambertin are among the most famous in Burgundy. The reason is simple. The vast finage, which counts no less than 450 hectares, offers a unique and rare diversity of soils ranging from the lias marls on the hillsides to the gravel of the crais. From these terroirs are born wines with square roundness!
