One of the oldest traditional houses in Barolo. Founded in 1761 by Bartolomeo Borgogno, it was taken over in 2008 by the Farinetti family, which perpetuates the original style and will of the Borgogno. One of their particularity is to have been able to keep several cases of each vintage, in order to be able to offer very old vintages afterwards.
Made mainly from the Nebbiolo grape, Barolo can be considered one of the greatest wines in Italy. Located in an elevated area, the vineyard consists of limestone marl, magnesium and manganese in the North West, as well as iron in the South East.
