ALPAMANTA - Natal - Malbec - Biodynamics 2015
Alpamanta is located 950 meters above sea level, in Ugarteche in the Luján de Cuyo department. In 2005, three friends, the Austrian Andrej Razumovsky, his Swiss cousin André Hoffman and the French Jérémie Delecourt joined forces to establish a charming winery in Mendoza, one of the New World regions best suited to viticulture. .
Alpamanta means love for the Earth in Quechua. Work in harmony with nature and the environment is indeed part of the indigenous culture. The owners have naturally chosen biodynamics in order to preserve the character of the vineyard. The result ? Sincere and expressive wines.
The wines are produced with modern methods in order to reduce the human impact: no pesticides or fungicides, few sulphites, indigenous yeasts and environmentally friendly packaging.
The French malbec grape has found its place in the New World in the vineyards of Mendoza. This region produces intense and concentrated red wines. It is by far the largest wine region in Argentina.
