Domaine Naudin-Ferrand (Claire Naudin) - Bourgogne Aligoté white 2017
Original label painted by the artist Raphaël Mallon
Location: In the municipalities of Magny lès Villers and Villers la Faye, plots, particularly suited to the grape variety (good sunshine).
Soils: Clay and limestone, oriented East / South-East, with a low slope.
Vinification: Fermentation entirely in enamelled or stainless steel vats, to preserve freshness. 100% FA and FML, indigenous yeasts and bacteria.
Short aging (8 months), on lees, without stirring. Light kieselguhr filtration and tartaric stabilization (CMC: cellulose gum) to avoid any trauma (linked to cold weather). Then degassing with nitrogen, in order to preserve the freshness and aromatic intensity. Moderate sulphiting, bottled under vacuum, by gravity.
Specificities: Magny lès Villers has the reputation of being the cradle of Aligoté.
The Aligoté grape gives birth to fruity and easy-drinking white wines.
Our plots allow the optimal expression of the finesse and good balance of this grape variety. For the happiness of being together, unpretentious other than shared pleasure, Bourgogne Aligoté is the very type of a good bottle to uncork with friends: a simple and generous wine upon opening. In 2017: the nose is intense, both mineral and fruity, the palate is fresh to attack: a dynamic and gourmet set, a typical Aligoté, for regulars.
