Château ANGÉLUS 1995

Château Angelus, famous heritage of the Boüard family, is one of the Premiers Grands Crus Classés "A", alongside the Châteaux Ausone, Pavie and Cheval Blanc. Its vineyard stretches over 34 hectares of vines planted on the privileged slopes of the Saint Emilion region. The clay-limestone soil on which it rests is naturally well-drained and the Cabernet Franc vines, which mainly make up the vineyard, are around 40 years old. The unique terroir enjoyed by the estate, combined with the know-how of the house, make Château Angelus wines world-renowned Crus.

The 1995 vintage of Château Angelus is adorned with a dark color with soft amber reflections. The nose reveals a basket of ripe and spicy fruits, sublimated by a smoky oak. The palate remains incredibly subtle. Soft on the attack. balanced in the evolution, and set on a very round tannic structure which brings us to a long and aromatic finish ...
