Produced from spring water from the Hsuehshan Mountains ("Snow Mountains"), Kavalan Sherry is a single malt from the Solist range, a collection of the distillery's finest cask crude bottlings. Aged in oloroso sherry casks, and bottled by hand, without reduction, addition of caramel or cold filtration, it is a rich, exotic and complex whiskey, already voted Best Rest of the World Single Malt at the World Whiskey Awards 2011.
