This Savennières, which is an appellation in its own right, requires many years in the cellar before developing an extraordinarily complex range of aromas ranging from mineral to vegetal, including honey and fruit (candied orange, quince, apricot, toasted almond ... ), a refined, gourmet material delivering salinity and beautiful bitters. This unique wine needs to be uncorked no less than 24 hours before tasting.
