Château LA CONFESSION 2016
Château La Confession is located in Saint-Émilion, in the region of Bordeaux. It belongs to Jean-Philippe Janoueix Domaines and has been ranked Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. The vineyard spreads over 7.5 hectares encouraging biodiversity by allowing grass to grow in every other row of vines, enabling colonies of insects to grow and improving the absorption of water into the soils. The vines are planted densely, creating a competitiveness between the vines, which must dig deeper into the mineral-rich terroir for nutrients. The vines are looked after sustainably, reducing the ecological footprint and helping the ecosystem.
