VALDEMONJAS - El Primer Beso 2019

Valdemonjas estate is located in Ribera del Duero, in Spain. Its history is linked to that of Alejandro and Charo, of the union of agriculture and music, land and art. The Pago de Valdemonjas vineyard was bought in 1998, and extended in 2009 by the acquisition of El Nogal dela Valera, a centennial vineyard in the La Horra area. The winemaker, Luca d’Attoma, and the Moyana family are commited to organic farming and biodynamics.

The Pago de Valdemonjas is a small 7.1-hectare boat, located between 700 and 750 meters above sea level, in the middle of the golden mile, the natural neighbour of the Vega Sicilia vineyard. It is totally isolated by the slopes of the second terrace of the Duero.

El Primer Beso is made from Tempranillo fermented in stainless steel without extraction. The wine was aged for 6 months in ovoid cement vats.
