Arnaldo Caprai - Sagrantino di Montefalco 1999
Arnaldo Caprai is located in Montefalco, in Umbria, Italy. The estate was founded in 1971 by Arnaldo Caprai, a textile businessman. He bought a 5-hectare site in Montefalco and immediately began to expand his vineyard holdings. His son Marco Caprai, who took over in 1988, is widely credited with making the estate the top producer of Sagrantino di Montefalco. Environmental protection, rational use of energy, innovation and change are the basis of the Caprai Company business strategies. The Arnaldo Caprai Company, knowing and deeply loving the Montefalco area, is also committed to recovering the local cultural identity and territorial origins.
