Château Le Puy is located in Libourne, Bordeaux. It has been in the Amoreau family since 1610 and today it is the fifteenth generation that manages the estate, along with Jean-Pierre and Pascal Amoreau. The vineyard now covers 51 hectares divided into three plots. From 1990, the latter began researching the aging of their wines without the addition of sulphites. These wines, made from perfectly sorted grapes, which are not sulphited, yeasted and chaptalised during fermentation, are aged for 24 months without adding sulfur dioxide. They are therefore aged with stirring according to a precise lunar calendar (biodynamic farming certified since 2012). These wines are the pure "Original Expression of the Terroir", as indicated on the label.
