DOMAINE DE CAMBES 2017
Château Roc de Cambes is located in the Côtes de Bourg appellation, in Bordeaux. The château was purchased in 1988 by François and Emilie Mitjavile, who also owns the Saint-Emilion's Château Le Tetre-Rôteboeuf. It produces a Merlot-based Bordeaux blend and a Second Wine (Domaine de Cambes) sold as Bordeaux AOC. The vineyards cover 12 hectares and the vines, planted to deep clay-limestone soils, are about 50 years-old.
A road separates the vines of Domaine de Cambes from those of Château Roc de Cambes. It is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc aged for 18 months in new oak barrels.
