Domaine Laurent Habrard - Hermitage Blanc - Rocoules 2019
Domaine Laurent Habrard is located in Gervans, in the northern Côtes-du-Rhône . The vineyard is spread over three appellations: Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph and Hermitage. The conduct of the vineyard highlights respect for the environment and production methods from certified organic farming .
The only parcel of Hermitage de Laurent Habrard is located at a place called “ Les Roucoules ”. This area of 47.6 ares was bought by his grandfather from the son-in-law of General de Gaulle in the 1970s. Part of the plot is over a century old; some vines date from the time of phylloxera and the replanting of French vineyards at the end of the 19th century. The heights and the narrowness of the rows make mechanical work impossible, which is why the harvest is manual. This cuvée is made from very old Marsanne vines . For each vintage, the work of an artist is chosen to illustrate all of the Domaine's white Hermitage bottles. For the 2019 vintage, 2,400 bottles were produced.
Grape variety: 100% Marsanne
