La Suze is a bitter golden aperitif gentian liqueur made from yellow gentians created in the 19th century by Henri Porte on a recipe from the laboratory of his partner, Fernand Moureaux. La Suze is produced in the historic factory in Thuir , in the Pyrénées-Orientales.
