Domaine La Porte Saint Jean is located in the village of Montreuil-Bellay, in the region of Anjou-Saumur in the Loire Valley . It has belonged to Sylvain Dittière since 2011, after professional experience alongside major winegrowers and estates: Gauby, Thierry Germain, Château Yvonne, Clos Rougeard... He operates more than 7 hectares of vines under certified organic farming since 2017. takes a minimalist approach to winemaking and ageing, uses very little sulfur and wood.

Les Cormiers is made from Cabernet Franc which is around sixty years old. The vinification is carried out in concrete vats then the juice is transferred by gravity into Bordeaux barrels where the wine is aged for 18 to 24 months.
