Domaine Dupont Fahn - Puligny Montrachet - Les Charmes 2020

Domaine Dupont-Fahn is located in Tailly in the commune of Meursault , Burgundy and was established in 1975. At that time, Raymond Dupont-Fahn 's grandfather believed that his land, straddling Les Perrières de Meursault and Under the back of Anes , was too rocky and lacking in soil. The INAO accepted that 20 cm of topsoil be deposited on the land. A few years later, following a complaint from neighboring producers, the plot was downgraded for the same reason to Bourgogne Blanc. Nearly forty years later, the vines are deeply and perfectly rooted in their original terroir and produce high quality wines. This story, undeniably unique in Burgundy, attracts curious people and buyers, and it is now very difficult to obtain these wines. Raymond Dupont-Fahn embodies the third generation of winegrowers on this estate worked without pesticides .
