Domaine Pierre Gonon - Saint Joseph Blanc - Les Oliviers 2020

Pierre Gonon is a benchmark estate located in the Saint-Joseph appellation, in the north of the Rhône Valley . The Domaine's 10 hectares of vines are located on the best granite sites of Tournon, Mauves and Saint Jean de Muzols, in the original part of the appellation. The vineyards are cultivated organically , with very low yields thanks to the pruning of the vines.

Saint-Joseph Blanc Les Oliviers comes from a 2-hectare plot in the appellation considered the best for white wines. It is a blend of Marsanne (80%) and Roussanne (20%) , fermented in large barrels, then aged in barriques and larger barrels for 11 months, with regular stirring of the lees .

Grapes: 80% Marsanne, 20% Roussanne
