Champagne Germar Breton - Brut - Half Bottle
The Domaine Germar Breton is located in Colombé-la-Fossé, in the Côte des Bars in Champagne . In 1989, Karine and Laurent Breton took over the family vineyard and continued the work on the vines begun in the 1950s. Since 2005, Germar Breton champagnes have been produced and developed by Laurent Breton. They own 7.5 hectares of vines spread over 4 communes. Concerned about the land and the environment, the vineyard is worked in sustainable viticulture .
The Brut cuvée is a blend of Chardonnay (65%) and Pinot Noir (35%) . During vinification, only the juice from the first press is kept. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in stainless steel vats. The champagne is disgorged 2 to 4 months before it is marketed. It is bottled with a Brut dosage of 8 g/L .
