Pingus - Dominio de Pingus 2020
Dominio de Pingus is a Spanish winery located in Quintanilla de Onésimo in the province of Valladolid, with vineyards in La Horra of the Ribera del Duero region. The estate's flagship wine, Pingus, is considered a "cult wine". Dominio de Pingus was founded in 1995 by Danish winemaker Peter Sisseck . Planted with very old Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) vines, the vineyard is 2.5 hectares in Barrosso with vines over 65 years old, and 1.5 hectares in San Cristobal with vines over 70 years old. Since 2000, viticulture has been certified biodynamic .
Of the annual production of Pingus , there are usually less than 500 cases produced, although in bad vintages no Pingus is made.
