Domaine Sébastien Magnien - Pommard - Les Petits Noizons 2021
Domaine Sébastien Magnien is located in Meursault , in Burgundy . The estate has been managed since 2003 by Sébastien Magnien and his mother Brigitte. From 1983 and for 20 years, Sébastien's parents painstakingly bought 2.5 hectares of vines in several appellations of the Côte de Beaune. In 2003, they inherited the Domaine Parigot vineyard in Meloisey in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. The Domaine Sébastien Magnien therefore extends today over 12 hectares in 9 appellations and is conducted in sustainable agriculture .
The term “ Petits Noizons ” comes from the Burgundian patois les Nosroyes which means Walnut (the tree), a land covered with walnut trees which belonged to the Duchess of Burgundy Alix de Vergy in the 13th century. The climat “Les Petits Noizons” is located at the top of the hillside on very stony soil. This plot benefits from a southern exposure which gives the wines a distinctive solar character.
