Château Carbonneau - Lulu - Rosé 2022
Château Carbonneau is located in Gensac, between Saint-Emilion and Bergerac in the Bordeaux wine region. The oldest known owner is Jacques Fouignet-Verbacle, in 1823. The Château was built from 1860 by the Bachan family. The end of the 19th century marked the golden age of Bordeaux wine. At that time, the seven-volume Grand Larousse mentioned Château Carbonneau as “a vintage of good Bordeaux wines”. Since 1992, Jacqueline and Wilfrid Franc De Ferrière have been running the wine estate and have since modernized the wine cellar and restored the château in order to receive guests there.
Lulu is a blend of Cabernet Franc (34%), Merlot (33%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (33%) . The wine is aged in stainless steel vats.
