Domaine Andrée - Carbone 2019
Domaine Andrée is located in the Anjou appellation, in the Loire Valley. The small cellar was founded by Stéphane Erisée . Before creating the estate, he worked with Antoine Foucault, from Domaine du Collier. He operates 5 hectares of vines that he cultivates organically and produces wines from Cabernet Franc, Chenin, Grolleau Noir and Grolleau Gris grape varieties, pursuing the philosophy of minimal intervention and using the minimum of sulphites in the production process. vinification.
The Carbone cuvée is made from Cabernet Franc , grown on clay soil rich in carbon and granite. The average age of the vines on the plot is 70 years. The harvest is entirely de-stemmed and no pigeage or pumping over is carried out: the goal is infusion and not extraction. Carbone is aged in barrels , 30% new for 12 months before bottling.
