Domaine Andrée - Les Mines 2018
Domaine Andrée is located in the Anjou appellation, in the Loire Valley. The small cellar was founded by Stéphane Erisée . Before creating the estate, he worked with Antoine Foucault, from Domaine du Collier. He operates 5 hectares of vines that he cultivates organically and produces wines from Cabernet Franc, Chenin, Grolleau Noir and Grolleau Gris grape varieties, pursuing the philosophy of minimal intervention and using the minimum of sulphites in the production process. vinification.
Les Mines is produced from Cabernet Franc whose average age of the vines on the plot is 45 years. The vines are grown on soil that resembles a coal mine . This particular geology gives a unique feeling of minerality in the wine. Les Mines is aged in barrels , 30% new for 24 months before bottling.
