Domaine Christophe Semaska - Côtes du Rhône Villages 2021
Domaine Christophe Semaska is located in Ampuis, in the north of the Rhône Valley. In 1988, he bought the Château de Montlys and its 8 hectares of terraced hillsides. Today, the vineyard is made up of 15 hectares of vines divided into several appellations: Côte Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Côtes-du-Rhône and IGP Coteaux de Vienne.
Côtes-du-Rhône is a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre . It comes from a selection of 30-year-old vines, grown on varied soils (pebble, sediment, etc.). Winemaking is traditional and long. Aging lasts 1 year, in barrels and vats.
