DOMAIN OF AURAGE 2020

L'Aurage is located in Saint-Genès-de-Castillon, in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The property was bought in 2007 by Caroline and Louis Mitjavile , the son of François and Emilie Mitjavile and owners of Châteaux Roc de Cambes and Tertre Roteboeuf. L'Aurage (previously Château Cadet) has a 22-hectare vineyard in one piece benefiting from clay-limestone soil.

Aurage is a predominantly Merlot blend supplemented with Cabernet Franc . The grapes are harvested at high maturity, then the wine is aged for 18 months in new Radoux barrels.

Grape varieties: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc
