Château Saint-Aubin is located in Réans, in the Gers , in the Bas-Armagnac region. It belongs to the Westphal family , originally from Alsace. The Saint-Aubin estate covers 200 hectares including 50 hectares of vines made up of around ten grape varieties on 5 plots. The winery was designed by the Westphal family, it combines tradition and modernity: latest generation equipment for maximum hygiene, an Inertys inert gas press to protect the musts from oxidation, thermoregulation equipment for control automatic and precise vinification temperatures, high-end French oak barrels, manufactured by the cooper Adour.
This Bas-Armagnac is a blend of Ugni Blanc, Bacco and Colombard from the 1983 vintage. It offers smoky notes of tobacco and ripe fruits such as mirabelle plum and apricot.
