Domaine Chappaz is located in the commune of Fully , in Valais , Switzerland . The Domaine has belonged to Marie-Thérèse Chappaz since 1987. She had intended to study midwifery but after an internship at the hospital where she appreciated neither the atmosphere nor the hierarchical system, she decided to accept the Esserts vineyard located in Charrat that his father wanted to give him. Marie-Thérèse discovered the profession of winegrower thanks in particular to the winegrower who already took care of the plot. She completed a one-year wine training course at the Biollaz winery and then successfully completed the higher education course in viticulture and oenology. In 1987, Marie-Thérèse took over the family vineyards. That year, she had to sell the grapes because the cellar (at a place called La Liaudisaz ) was not yet ready: 1988 was the year of vinification of her first vintage. At the time, she only had one and a half hectares of vines and over the years, she expanded her estate which now includes 10 hectares, spread over four villages. In 1997, during a visit to a biodynamic specialist at Domaine Chapoutier in Tain-L'Hermitage, Marie-Thérèse decided to convert her estate to biodynamics, an approach in line with her philosophy of respect for the environment and life. and the land. Its vineyard has been certified by Demeter since 2003. Vinification is done as naturally as possible, respecting the stages and evolution of the wine, with native yeasts and a minimum of inputs.

Grain Pinot Les Dahrres is made from Pinot Noir from the Les Dahrres vineyard in Chamoson.
