Château MEJEAN - Graves Rouge 2020
Château Peyrat is located in the town of Cérons, a stone's throw from the Sauternais vineyards, in the Bordeaux wine region. In 2014, Aurélien Dulor, Ludovic and Damien Martial came together around a common dream: to operate a wine property preferably in AOC Graves. Drawing on their shared experience over 15 years in the wine industry, they found in Château Peyrat the ideal environment to enhance and develop a vineyard. They are setting up the project to bring together passionate investors, attached to the Bordeaux wine heritage, in the form of a Wine Land Group. A group of 27 associates sharing this dream were then brought together. The 17 hectare enclosure is in one piece and benefits from a microclimate due to the proximity of the Garonne.
Château Méjean has 6 hectares of vines, composed of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet (20%) cultivated on a terroir of gravel, clay and silica. Aging lasts 12 to 18 months , in new barrels, one-wine barrels and stainless steel vats .
Grape varieties: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet
