Champagne Drémont Marroy - Noir de Méandre 2018 - Blanc de Noirs - Extra Brut
Champagne Drémont-Marroy is located in Charly-sur-Marne, in the Marne Valley in Champagne . The family estate is today managed by Jean-Rémi and Mélanie Drémont . Their great-grandmother, Odette Drémont, was a winegrower and teacher. Their grandparents, Jean-Marie and Geneviève Drémont were farmers and breeders, and only cultivated 1 hectare of vines. It was under the leadership of their parents, Jean-Louis Drémont and Françoise Marroy, that the vineyard expanded from 1 to 7.5 hectares. The estate extends over 4 villages and includes 23 plots. Jean-Rémi and Mélanie Drémont practice viticulture close to and respectful of nature and biodiversity. The vineyard has been certified in organic farming since 2022.
Noir de Méandre is made from Pinot Noir (50%) and Meunier (50%) from the 2018 vintage. The base wine is aged for 10 months on lees, half of which in wood. The champagne is aged on slats for 4 years . It is bottled without dosage .
