Clos des Lambrays - 40 year old Marc des Lambrays - 40%
Le Clos des Lambrays is located in Morey-Saint-Denis on the Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy . The Clos des Lambrays vineyard has existed since the 14th century but was then divided between 74 owners following the French Revolution. It was only brought together in 1868, then over the following centuries the vineyard changed hands several times and fell into disarray, before being bought by Roland de Chambure and Fabien and Louis Saier in 1979. The new owners revitalized the estate and, in 1981, it was classified Grand Cru . In 1996, ownership passed to Gunter and Ruth Freund . The Clos des Lambrays vineyard is today almost a monopoly of the Domaine des Lambrays.
Marc de Bourgogne is an eau-de-vie made from distilled grape must.
