Château Ducluzeau 2015

Château Ducluzeau is located in Listrac-Médoc , in the Bordeaux wine region. It has belonged to the Borie family since 1740. Unusually for the region, and due to its soils and climate, Château Ducluzeau has always been dominated by Merlot. The 13 hectares of vineyards are divided into several plots, with notable differences between them in terms of relief and soil type. Most of the plots are located on the main Listrac plateau. These have light soils of gravel and clay on the top layer and a mixture of gravel and clayey limestone below. The average age of the vines is 35 years.

The wine is a blend of Merlot (95%) and Petit Verdot (5%) . It is aged for 12 months in one-wine barrels (80%) and new oak barrels (20%).
