Château Pradeaux - Bandol Rosé 2023
Château Pradeaux is located in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, in the Bandol appellation area in Provence . The estate has belonged to the Portalis family since 1752 but was destroyed during the occupation of the Second World War. It was rehabilitated by Arlette Portalis and has been managed by Cyrille Portalis since 1985. He was joined by his sons Etienne and Edouard in 2010. The Château Pradeaux vineyard extends over an area of 22 hectares, planted only with red grape varieties: Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Grenache, Carignan, Counoise and Barbaroux. The average age of the vines is 40 years.
Bandol Rosé is composed mainly of Mourvèdre , supplemented with Cinsault . It is produced by direct pressing . The wine benefits from a short aging on lees.
