Paul Barre - Cuvée Leeloo 2021
The Paul Barre vineyard is located in Fronsac, in the Bordeaux wine region. It was founded at Château La Grave in 1974. The property is managed today by Gabriel Barre , his son, and his wife Edith. Paul Barre played a pioneering role in the field of organic farming and is recognized as being at the origin of the practice of biodynamics in the region. The human-sized vineyard, approximately 7 hectares, is managed with an approach that takes care of the land, favoring living and healthy soils for growing grapes.
Leeloo is a blend of Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Franc (40%) . The wine is vinified naturally and aged in vats. It is slightly pearly when opened and requires decanting for about an hour.
