Domaine de Naisse - Brenot Beranger - Burgundy Red - Pinot Noir 2022
Domaine de Naisse is located in Laizé, in the Mâconnais in the south of Burgundy . It was created in 1980 by Guy Beranger , who was initially involved in a cooperative winery and began making wine on the property in 1997. Christophe Brenot joined him in 1999. The estate now covers more than 20 hectares following the acquisition of plots in the Mâcon-Villages, Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Viré-Clessé appellations. The estate is now managed by Christophe and Elodie, his wife and Guy's daughter.
The red Burgundy comes from the blend of 2 plots of young Pinot Noir vines in the commune of Laizé at the places called Les Châtaigniers and En Naisse. The age of the vines varies from 15 to 20 years. The wine is aged for 6 months in oak barrels aged 5 to 15 years.
