Domaine Gallety - Cuvée Gallety Rouge - Magnum 2021
Domaine Gallety is located in Saint-Montan, in the Rhone Valley. It was founded in 1974 by the Gallety family and was initially composed of vines, fruit trees, forest and scrubland on an area of 80 hectares. Wine production required a restructuring of the operation. Today, the vineyard extends over 15 hectares in one piece. For more than 30 years, Alain and his son David-Alexandre have been united by a common passion: the love of wine. The winemaking reflects the terroir and its riches, with the greatest respect for the environment. The wines are distinguished by the careful selection of grape varieties in order to obtain unique combinations, with fine and concentrated aromas.
Cuvée Gallety Rouge is a blend of Syrah (50%) and Grenache (50%) whose vine age varies between 40 and 45 years. Maceration lasts 21 days in vats, then the wine is aged for 14 to 15 months in oak barrels .
