Domaine Naudin-Ferrand - Le Clou 34 2022
Domaine Naudin-Ferrand is located in Magny-les-Villers, in the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy . Claire Naudin took over the estate in 1994. A follower of sustainable viticulture and integrated production, she rejects standardization and prefers an artisanal approach to sustainable viticulture, with minimal intervention but without certification for organic or biodynamic agriculture. The estate covers approximately 22 hectares of vines, with some vintages such as Echezeaux, Aloxe, Ladoix, Nuit-Saint-Georges and the rest in regional appellations.
Le Clou 34 comes from old Aligoté vines from four plots; Le Clou (1934), Les Tilles (1935, 1948, 1953), Egoulotte (1945) and En La Croix (1953). The harvest is manual and the whole bunch pressing is slow and gentle. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentations occur with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for a minimum of 12 months on lees .
Grape variety: 100% Aligoté
