Château de Fonbel is located in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation, on the right bank of Bordeaux. It belongs to the Vauthier family , owners of Châteaux Ausone and Moulin Saint-Georges. The vineyard covers 16 hectares, and the vines, around twenty years old, are cultivated on a sandy-gravelly terroir.

Château de Fonbel 2019 is a blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), Petit Verdot (7%) and Carménère (3%) . The wine is aged in stainless steel vats and barrels (30%).

Grape varieties: 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 3% Carménère
