Chateau Les Ormes de Pez - Magnum 2017
Château Ormes de Pez is located in Saint-Estèphe , in the Bordeaux wine region. After a succession of owners following the French Revolution, Château Ormes de Pez was the first to be purchased by the Cazes family in 1940. The 40-hectare vineyard benefits from a mild maritime climate thanks to the influence of the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. The estate is managed using sustainable agriculture : use of environmentally neutral products, optimized phytosanitary control, rest of the soil in flowering fallows.
Les Ormes de Pez 2017 is a blend of Merlot (51%), Cabernet Sauvignon (42%), Cabernet Franc (6%) and Petit Verdot (1%) . The wine is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels , 45% of which are new.
