Ron Santiago de Cuba - Carta Blanca - 38%
Ron Santiago de Cuba is a brand of Cuban rum, founded in 1862 in the eponymous city, Santiago de Cuba, the oldest on the island. Following the Cuban Revolution of 1959 , the rum industry was nationalized, and the production of Ron Santiago de Cuba was taken over by the state within the old Matusalem distillery, located in the mountainous region of Sierra Maestra . The sugarcane from the southeast of the island is unique; imbued with marine minerality and an aromatic sweetness, the microflora of this land where the sugarcane is grown helps to guarantee the unique flavor of this Cuban rum.
Ron Santiago de Cuba Carta Blanca is aged for 3 years in white oak barrels.
