Teyras de Grandval - Chinon Blanc 2022

Domaine Teyras de Grandval is located in Cravant-les-Côteaux, in the Chinon appellation in the Loire Valley. It was founded in 2023 after the acquisition of Domaine Jaulin Plaisantin by Anatole de La Brosse , the owner and operator of Domaine des Closiers. The vineyard covers 17 hectares; 16 hectares of Cabernet Franc and 1 hectare of Chenin. The vines are cultivated organically and everything is done to develop biodiversity, including the planting of hedges and fruit trees. The first production was released in 2025.

Chenin Blanc is a vintage from a grafted plot located on a hillside. The grapes are harvested manually and sorted 4 times before direct pressing. The wine is aged for 12 months in barrels .
